I'm a REALTOR® with The Agency Real Estate Brokerage | Halifax, serving clients throughout Nova Scotia. My focus includes Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Fall River, St. Margaret's Bay, and the South Shore. These are communities I genuinely love and feel deeply connected to.
Having called 5 different places home myself, I understand what it means to arrive somewhere new, find the right home with confidence and, most importantly, feel truly settled once you do.
My story
A life lived across North America
My life has taken me from Vancouver to Northern Virginia, Seattle, Philadelphia and, ultimately, Halifax. Each move taught me how to discover a new place from the ground up: from its neighbourhoods and schools to the character and rhythm that make a community feel like home. Along the way, I formed meaningful relationships that I continue to treasure across North America.
My professional journey has been equally rich, from delivering exceptional service in the airline industry to helping build and scale a national telecommunications company with my husband, all while raising three wonderful and amazing boys. Through every chapter, my love of people has remained at the heart of everything I do!
In the fall of 2023, our family made Nova Scotia home, settling in Fall River: a community surrounded by lakes, with the ocean only a short drive away.

My husband and I were just starting to consider buying a new home. We decided to take in a few open houses to get a feel for how our current home stood up to the rest. We also thought it would be a good way to meet prospective agents. We knew we were going to be picky about the person we worked with because having a good relationship with our agent was going to be very important to us. We knew we needed to like and trust them. When we met Nyssa at an open house, we knew instantly that we were going to like her. She was obviously interested in working with us and took initiative that other agents didn't. Others just handed us their card and told us to call them when we were ready to list. Nyssa jumped in with both feet, but at the same time never made us feel pressured.
